Runnin' around this past week, mo' stuff:

FREE – FIRE AND WATER, ISLAND UK CD re

Nice re-mastered version, better sound, more songs, incl. some BBC live tracks

GABRIEL, PETER – PETER GABRIEL (2nd album), GEFFEN US CD re

Produced by Robert Fripp; seemed to follow on the heels of the first solo album

JOHN, ELTON – TUMBLEWEED CONNECTION, ROCKET US CD re

1 x bonus track; almost done buying all of my re-mastered E.J. CD’s, only 2 more to go!

LOVE SCULPTURE – BLUES HELPING, EMI UK CD

Dave Edmunds & Co. in ’68. Always did like “Wang Dang Doodle”!

NYMAN, MICHAEL – SANGAM (NYMAN MEETS INDIAN MASTERS), WARNER DE CD why do the minimalists always gravitate towards Indian musicians? (Philip Glass did too!)

TEARS FOR FEARS – SEEDS OF LOVE, FONTANA UK CD

Found a funky old Euro copy, with a “Philips Compact Disc!” sticker on the box (and this was ’89!)

THOMPSON, RICHARD & LINDA – POUR DOWN LIKE SILVER, ISLAND UK CD re
