Very interesting lists, Ron. For the 70s, I would have to add the first three Jack Bruce solo LPs - "Songs For A Tailor", "Harmony Row" and "Out Of The Storm". These had a huge impact on me when I was at a very impressionable age. I still love them now.

For the 80s I'd have to include Elvis Costello's "Imperial Bedroom", Ultravox's "Vienna" and the debut Icehouse LP. I actually prefer the US edition of the latter.

It was difficult to leave out Jack Bruce from my 70's list, but...it happened. I absolutely love "Harmony Row", and my "Songs for a Tailor" is autographed by Pete Brown.
