Dick Heckstall-Smith

I found this book in Berkeley recently - it's a re-issue of Dick's first book, "The Safest Place In The World" together with a new essay on the time after the book by his manager Pete Grant (not to be confused with the famous LZ manager!). I met Mr. Heckstall-Smith in London with Pete Brown, and got my copy of "Safest Place" signed. I just love Mr. Heckstall-Smith's "A Story Ended" album. The recent Japanese CD of it added two sides of a 45 by "Manchild", which was recorded after "A Story Ended" was released.
