A wonderful English eccentric! I know of Ron Geesin likely because of his work with Pink Floyd – but the one that really got me interested was his album “Right Through” in 1977. Then and now, it’s an intriguing album. I sure would like to find a CD of it. When I wrote Mr. Geesin a fan letter, he responded! Of course, Mr. Geesin is known to many people as a collaborator of Roger Waters / Pink Floyd (notably on “Atom Heart Mother”).

I actually got a VHS of “The Body” when I lived in England in 1990. I don’t remember how the music went with the images, so I suppose it wasn’t all that impressive to me. I remember that “Patruns” was absurd piano solos, very enjoyable.

There has been a recent new collection issued – I am not completely certain what material is on it, but I’ll pick up a copy one day soon (I hope).

Glad I have his Transatlantic (“A Raise of Eyebrows”) LP – it’s not terribly common these days…in the truest sense of the phrase, “They don’t make ‘em like this anymore…”
