Wow! You have time to watch music videos! I love 'em but it almost never happens. But I have been thinking about the horrifying Monte Video clip lately. Back n the day I was certain that the women in that clip were female impersonators. There is nothing to compare to bad, Australian novelty music! But the mix you've watched is pretty much exemplary! I have never seen a Fingerprintz viddy!

I have made the time to make a few DVD 'reels' (I'm up to Vol. 8 now, having started in the fall of '05).

I have more Monte Video videos - and the one here isn't 'complete'. Yes, probably a few female impersonators.

The rule of thumb when assembling these 'reels' is a) is this the best copy? b) is this stereo? c) is this unusual?

I bet I only ever got one Fingerprintz video - once; hence it's inclusion.

Ron,

So now you have hit Zappa and finished, what is your take on the MOFO box set?

Nice to hear a "Freak Out" CD sounding like the vinyl - finally! Greatly enjoyed the 5 or so live cuts - always nice to hear the voice of Ray Collins.

I distinctly do not like the packaging of the MOFO set - had to remove the discs *IMMEDIATELY* for fear they would be damaged by the packaging; possibly via the possible chemical interaction or just the awkwardness of removing the discs.

It's 'Grade A' FZ, folks. I feel the same way about all the original Verve 'initial' LP's.
