Mort Garson

Mort Garson, the Canadian composer & synthesizer maestro had died at age 83 in San Francisco. I understand he never wanted to talk about "Cosmic Sounds Of The Zodiac" for some reason - but it's a special record. I wrote to Jac Holzman, who agreed that it was truly 'special'. I tried real hard to find all of Garson's work - in the pre-internet age. It was difficult. That kind of music wasn't being written about, nobody knew who he was (in the 70's) and it always seemed like I was the only one who cared - "Ataraxia", "Plantasia", "Music for Sensuous Lovers" etc. Now, more people know about these curious records.
