Alain Bashung, R.I.P.

I read on the internet that French male vocalist Alain Bashung died recently, aged 61 - from cancer. I know the French all seem to smoke like fiends. I really like Bashung's singles "L'Arivee du Tour" and "Madame Reve", and some of his albums as well. It's beginning to look like Jacques Dutronc or Michel Polnareff will be the last man left standing, in the world of chanson. Salut, Alain. Merci pour la musique.
