How did I survive the early 90’s?


3-6-08 How did I survive the early 90’s?

I spent almost all of 1990 living in England. I spent two additional winters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. And some great music happened, mostly in the CD format. By 1993, I was swept away in the “Japanese Wave” spearheaded by Les Pizzicato Five and Cornelius. But after the malaise of the late 80’s, the early 90’s rock for me. How many of these do you know?

ummm, make that 98%; I don't recognize "These Immortal Souls" and "Startles Insects"

These Immortal Souls is Rowland Howard of The Birthday Party; Startled Insects is British instrumental 'math rock' (i.e. electric jazz/rock) - they have indie records that look like regular rock music - but - complicated instrumentals...
